Christian worship ascribes all praise and honor, glory and power to the Triune God.
(Book of Order: The Constitution of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Part II, W-1.1001)

In worship we acknowledge the presence of God in the world and in our lives, and we respond with praise and gratitude. We come before God in worship and are renewed and equipped to serve God in the world.

Salem has a traditional worship service that includes hymns both old and a few new; prayers of invocation, confession, illumination, dedication and prayers of the people; the reading and proclamation of scripture; the offering of our lives and our gifts; and times for silent reflection and meditation. The entire congregation is included in worship, and some serve as greeters, acolytes, liturgists, or musicians.

We invite you to browse the website to read about other opportunities for worship.

Located in the back corner of the property at the far end of the parking lot is a quiet, beautiful Prayer Garden. It is open twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year for meditation, reflection, and the worship of God. In the beauty of God's creation one need only look around at the blue sky, the green grass, the colorful flowers, the fields and cattle, and feel the warmth of the sun and breeze rustling the leaves, to trust that God is present and hearing your prayer.

Once in the spring and once in the fall the congregation gathers in the Prayer Garden for a service of worship to give praise to the God of glory.
