Sunday Morning Study · Sundays at 10:00 AM

Most Sunday mornings a group gathers to study scripture and how it relates to our everyday lives. On August 16, 2015 we began a new study, What Is Presbyterian Evangelism? using the denominational study, Engage. Come learn with us as we discuss the meaning of evangelism and the ways it helps us live out Jesus' commission to share the good news.

The Lunch Bunch · Third Thursday of Every Month

Bring a brown bag lunch and join us as we begin a new study, An Abiding Hope: The Presence of God in Exodus and Deuteronomy. Whether we are physically moving from one location to another, or if our lives are moving in directions that are different than we expected, "Is the Lord among us or not?" (Exodus 17:7) Come journey with us as we look at the ways God has traveled with people in the past, with the assurance that God will be present in the future. We welcome you for lunch, fellowship, and a lively discussion!

Fellowship  Potluck · Once a Month

Once a month following worship we gather around the table for fellowship and delicious food.

February is the Chili Cook-off
March is the Birthday Potluck
Easter morning there is a Breakfast Potluck
May is the Derby Potluck
June is the Annual Cookout
August is the Ice Cream Social & Hymn-Sing with homemade ice cream!
November is the Thanksgiving Potluck
Christmas Eve is a Holiday Appetizer Potluck following worship

Our cooks are the best, and there's always room for YOU at the table! At each Potluck we collect for Operation Happiness, a volunteer-run Christmas assistance program for residents of Clark County, Kentucky.

The folks at Salem Presbyterian Church remain in prayer for many in our family and friends, in our community, and around the country and world. Each week we list those for whom we are praying on the back page of the worship bulletin. When there is a crisis, someone is seriously ill and hospitalized, or when a loved one in our church family dies, we activate the Prayer Chain. We may be in different physical locations, but we are one in prayer through Christ our Lord.

Please contact us if you would like to be included in prayer.
